The project consists in the construction of a 150,000 gallons concrete tank, a 60 gpm pumpo station and the demolition of existing Monte Pelao tank including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical work. All in accordance with the PRASA Construction Drawings and Specifications. The project will benefit approximately 335 families in the municipality of Guánica. Funding by Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA), the Federal Mangement Emergency Agency (FEMA) under the FEMA's Accelerated Obligations Strategy (knows as FAAST).
